Danielle Cruz is a Filipina-American designer and developer. She currently studies computer science (human-computer interaction) and symbolic systems at Stanford University.
Her work primarily involves building technologies that make experiences more equitable and more accessible — particularly for learners and Disabled people. Her past projects include a language-learning tool that received first place ($25,000) through Schmidt Futures's learning engineering fellowship; an alt-text extension awarded for most social impact; as well as education technology work featured in the 2020 Interaction Design and Children Conference.
